MTV Won't Advertise "Super Size Me"

A story in Forbes magazine reports that MTV is refusing to show ads for "Super Size Me" because "the ads are 'disparaging to fast food restaurants.'" There's no denying that: who can forget Morgan Spurlock, retching out the window after wolfing down a quarter pounder meal? Teens may want Britney Spears' flat abs, but they better keep on buying Bic Macs. Last week, the documentary broke into the top ten on domestic theater box office charts; it will screen in 165 theaters for Memorial Day weekend. Read Marcy's review.
