The 43rd New York Film Festival
Saturday September 24, 2005
Until October 9, the Film Society of Lincoln Center is presenting the 43rd New York Film Festival with a selection of films by some of the world's most exciting directors. New movies by George Clooney, Neil Jordan, Michael Haneke, Steve Soderbergh, Noah Baumbach, Hong Sang-soo, Aleksandr Sokurov and Hou Hsiao Hsien should be enough to make any film fan salivate, but if that's not enough, Michael Winterbottom's adaptation of Tristram Shandy, Lars von Trier's follow-up to "Dogville," and Philip Seymour Hoffman as Truman Capote (pictured) should be reason enough to get excited. Here is the complete lineup.
