Review: Classe Tous Risques
Friday November 18, 2005
Like "Rififi" and "Touchez-Pas Au Grisbi" before it, New York's Film Forum unearthed this terrific 1960 thriller by director Claude Sautet ("Un Couer en Hiver.") With surprising warmth, Lino Ventura plays a gangster at the end of his rope. Young hotshot Jean-Paul Belmondo comes to his rescue. Touching and merciless, "Classe Tous Risques" opens today. Jürgen reviews.
