Thursday April 5, 2007
Some choice bits that have been making the rounds of the film blogosphere this week:
- Leaked! The screenplay for Wes Anderson's upcoming Darjeeling Limited, written by Anderson, Jason Schwartzman, and Roman Coppola, was available as pdf file before it got taken down (Via IFC Blog.)
- Werner Herzblog: Ray Pride collects a dossier on the irrepressible Werner Herzog, including a profile from Harper's, interviews, news on Rescue Dawn, and video clips featuring Harmony Korine, the obscenity of the jungle, and -- of course -- Klaus Kinski.
- How does David Lynch feel about product placement?
- Matt Dentler links to a video of Robert Rodriguez discussing Grindhouse at SXSW.
- Celluloid Dreams and HanWay Films merge into Dreamachine, and Anthony Kaufman sees trouble ahead for foreign-language films.
