Worldfilm Bulletin: Wenders, Depardieu, Moore, and More

The Film Society at Lincoln Center is gearing up to celebrate the marvelous career of Gerard Depardieu with a tribute called "Tough and Tender" from Aug 3-19. Depardieu has appeared in over 20 movies since announcing his "retirement" in 2005.

CNN's "worst nightmare" is over: Michael Moore announced that he is ready to move on after the network admitted to fudging facts in a piece about his film Sicko. Controversy erupted last week when Moore was invited on Wolf Blitzer and Larry King.
Online Films: Todd Haynes' I'm Not There isn't coming out until the fall, but a short clip featuring Cate Blanchett as Bob Dylan and David Cross as Allen Ginsberg already leaked on YouTube. At IFC, Brooklyn's Rooftop Film Festival offers a new short film every day of the summer.
