Lynch Comes to the IFC Center

I still have the occasional disturbing dream about last year's INLAND EMPIRE marathons and related New York appearances by David Lynch, who was seemingly everywhere promoting the film and his book Catching the Big Fish. Just when it seemed like the maestro might disappear for a while to work on his next three-hour opus, he's back: Manhattan's IFC Center is about to open Lynch, an intimate documentary credited to a mysterious director who goes by the name "blackANDwhite," along with a series of midnight screenings of Wild at Heart, Lost Highway, Mulholland Dr., INLAND EMPIRE, and a new 35mm print of Eraserhead that was digitally restored by Lynch himself. Lynch will open on October 26 for a one-week exclusive engagement. Read my adavance review of Lynch. [posted by Jürgen]
