Juno Wins Top Prize at Rome Film Festival

An independent film about a pregnant American teen keeps piling up international prizes, adding top honors from the second annual RomeFilmFest this Saturday. Ellen Page stars in the title role of Jason Reitman's Juno, the story of a precocious Minnesota teen confronting an unplanned pregnancy by her classmate Bleeker (Michael Cera). Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner co-star as prospective parents in this film festival charmer that is beginning to generate Oscar buzz.Juno received the runner-up for the people's choice award at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. Last week, the Hollywood Film Festival recognized Diablo Cody as the Breakthrough Screenwriter of the Year and Ellen Page as Breakthrough Actress of the Year.
