New on DVD: Rocket Science

Wednesday January 30, 2008
Jeffrey Blitz's Rocket Science belongs up there with the best of recent coming of age sagas – in the company of such teen classics as Wes Anderson's Rushmore and Terry Zwigoff's Ghost World.  Nominated for four Indie Spirit Awards, this improbable comedy about a stuttering teen who joins a debate team to impress a girl was overlooked at the box office.

Canadian actress Ellen Page has been the talk of the season as the whip-smart Juno. But I'd love to see Juno go head-to-head in a hipster debate with under-appreciated Ginny. I'd put my money on Anna Kendrick.
