Review: Frozen River

Frozen River Review (Sony Pictures Classics)

Courtney Hunt's taut thriller, winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, opened in theaters this Friday. Frozen River is a riveting drama about a working class woman, played by the remarkable Melissa Leo, who transports illegal immigrants over the New York border. Read Marcy's review.
