Abigail Breslin is growing up nicely. She got off to a big start in the independent comedy Little Miss Sunshine (2006), beginning her career with nothing less than an Academy Award nomination. She has been appearing steadily in film sever since -- and doing lovely work. Now she stars in the title role of David Rosthenal's independent film Janie Jones.
Breslin gives in a memorable performance in an otherwise sweet, but forgettable film. Elisabeth Shue co-stars as the Janie's drug addicted mother and Alessandro Nivolo as her rock star father.
Janie Jones is currently playing in limited release. Read Marcy's review.
