David Lynch's Bovine Buzz
Friday November 10, 2006
David Lynch isn't just self-distributing his new film INLAND EMPIRE--it looks like he's marketing the three-hour freakout all by himself, too. Lynch took to a streetcorner in Hollywood yesterday with signs and a live cow to drum up Oscar buzz, Defamer reports. "For Your Consideration, Laura Dern" one sign read, and another: "Without cows, there would be no cheese in the INLAND EMPIRE." Starting December 6, INLAND EMPIRE will show in an exclusive two-week engagement at IFC Center in New York. Jürgen reviewed the film at the New York Film Festival.
