Gaspard Ulliel and Emmanuelle Béart are trying to forget the German invasion.

Birth Date: November 25, 1984.
Biography: Gaspard Ulliel started acting when he was only eleven years old, working in French television. He had his first film role in Marina De Van's "Alias" (1988). In 2001, he was cast in a small but prominent role in the international hit Brotherhood of the Wolf." In 2003, he was nominated for a Most Promising Actor for the role of Michael Blanc in "Embrassez qui vous voudrez," playing a teenager driven mad by his hormones. He stars opposite Emmanuelle Beart in André Téchiné's "Strayed" playing Yvan, a mysterious drifter who shares a romantic idyll with Beart in the French countryside during World War Two.

Ulliel was next seen in Jean-Pierre Jeunet's "A Very Long Engagement" which also stars Audrey Tautou and American actress Jodie Foster. He received premier billing for the first time in 2005, as Simon, a young man en route to spend Christmas with his über-dysfunctional French family, in Rodolphe Marconi's disturbingly intimate drama "The Last Day." Ulliel also took part in the ensemble film "La Maison de Nina."Ulliel appeared in "Marais," Gus Van Sant's contribution to the film-a-sketch Paris, "Je t'Aime" (2007).

The French actor made his American debut in Peter Webber's 2007 horror picture "Hannibal Rising." Ulliel plays Lecter at a young age.
