Biography: Born Diane Heidkrueger, this young German actress is joining company with Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom in Wolfgang Peterson's epic film "Troy" (2004).She originally trained to be a dancer, studying with the ballet in London before an injury ruined her career. Kruger modeled in Germany for several years before moving to Paris at the suggestion of film-maker Luc Besson. She made her acting debut in 2002's indie feature "The Piano Player" opposite Dennis Hopper and Christopher Lambert. Her other film projects include "Mon Idole," "Michel Vaillant," and "Wicker Park."
