Eva Green starred opposite Daniel Craig, in Casino Royale. She plays the enticing Vesper Lynd.

A native of Paris, Eva Green spent three years at the Eva St Paul School before attending a London workshop at the Webber Douglas acting school. Her theater experience includes Didier Long's Jealousie 3 Fax and Gerard Deshartes' Turcarcet.

The Dreamers was Green’s first film. She plays Isabelle, Theo's sister, and shares his love of cinema. In 2003 she starred in the film Arsene Lupin for director Jean-Paul Salomé. She had a leading role in in Ridley Scott’s Kingdom of Heaven opposite Liam Neeson and Orlando Bloom.

After an extensive search, Eva Green was named the new Bond girl, starring opposite the latest agent 007, Daniel Craig, in Casino Royale. Green played the enticing role of Vesper Lynd. She has also been cast as an exotic bird smuggler in the French/German/Russian thriller Zhivaya Riba and an adaptation of the Paul Auster novel In the Country of Last Things.

Green portrayed the witch Serafina Pekkala in the film adaptation of The Golden Compass (2007). She next appears in Franklyn (2008) and Cracks{/i] about an elite English boarding school.
