Review: Km. 0

From Marcy Dermansky

Summer Fun in Madrid

Guide Rating - rating

"Km. 0" is a sweet film. On a sweltering day, fourteen lives intersect at kilometer zero -- the very center of Madrid. The plot is contrived, the coincidences abound, but that does not diminish the nice, easy moments in this free-spirited Midsummer's Night-like sex romp as a random group of diverse lonely people (men and women, gays and straights) find unexpected love and rejoice in the rain.

Starring: Concha Velasco, Georges Corraface, Silke Hornillos Klein, Carlos Fuentes, Mercè Pons, Alberto San Juan, Elisa Matilla, and Armando del Río. Directed by Juan Luis Iborra and Yolanda Garcia Serrano.
