November 28th, 2003.

MPAA Rating:

Not Rated.

Description:

This documentary tells the story of one year in the life of Susan Tom of Fairfield, California who is the adopted mother of eleven "special needs" children. Among those 11 are two legless daughters who love bouncing on a trampoline, a daughter who is horribly disfigured from burns, a son suffering from a possibly lethal skin disease and a 15-year-old bully, Joe, with cystic fibrosis. From high points (school dances, summer vacations) to low points (hospital visits, the death of one of the children), this film shows how a woman trying to bring love into children's lives manages to keep her family together.
