Description:
Set in New Mexico in 1886, a father (Jones) returns home to his family to try to make peace decades after abandoning them to go live with the Apaches, but finds that his wife is long since dead and his now-grown-up daughter, Maggie (Blanchett), has no forgiveness or affection to give him. When her daughter, Lily (Wood), is kidnapped by a band of outlaw Army deserters (who also murdered Maggie's husband, Brake, played by Eckhart) led by a man called Chidin (Schweig), however, the estranged duo teams up to rescue Lily.
