Reviews

The New York Times
"There is surprisingly little emotional amplitude in the film that the German television director Max Färberböck has fashioned from Ms. Fischer's book."

Queer View
"Support comes from an excellent cast: Maria Schrader as Felice enchants the audience straight away. Juliane Köhler as Lilly is convincing both in her naivety as well as the courage and decisiveness of her love. Heike Makatsch (surprisingly good!), Johanna Wokalek and Elisabeth Degen are the members of Felice's lively group of friends."

Mr Showbiz
Brilliant performances overcome the flaws of this passionate, true-life chronicle of lesbian lovers in Nazi Germany.
