Reviews

The New York Times
"With Pola X, a noisy epic swirl of breast-beating, hair-tearing angst and portentous symbolism, the 39- year-old director Léos Carax captures the dubious title of French cinema's reigning mad romantic."

Film.com
A Stimulating Failure - "... interesting-weird..."

inside out film - (2 out of 5 stars)
"...has all the pretensions of those alternative films of the Sixties, in which pale, silent heroines and tortured young men waste their lives, writing incomprehensible poetry and smoking too much."

Mr. Showbiz - (rating: 76/100)
"...not a tidy experience, but it'll hit you in the throat."
