Bjork says she will never act again

If a film is contemptible, like The Contender or Chocolat, it doesn't matter how good your performance is. Julia Roberts has great cleavage in Erin Brockovich, but so does Kate Winslet in Quills. My favorite in this category: Laura Linney as Sammy who sleeps with unsuitable men because she feels sorry for them. But what about Bjork, a blind woman, beating David Morse to death with a money box and singing her way to the gallows. Newcomer Michelle Rodriguez has been likened to a female Marlon Brando, and for good reason. Ellen Burstyn was wonderful in her drug induced Requiem spiral.
