When Filmmakers Don't Hide Behind
The Camera...
San Francisco filmmakers Tobi Solvang and Dianne Griffin travel to
Eritrea to make a film about AIDS, but they become drawn into the
story and become subjects of their own film. Unafraid to show their
own failings, the result seems less like a professional documentary
than a personal account of their voyage into fascinating and horrifying
territory. |
