Guide Review
Apple Pie for the Soul
For those of us who could never keep up with TV schedules to follow this extraordinarily bizarre murder mystery set in a Pacific Northwest small town, this box set is a godsend. FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) investigates the death of prom queen Laura Palmer in a town populated with more weirdos than you can shake a log at. The ensuing rustic noir is as creepy and fascinating as only David Lynch could have made it. To be able to watch this groundbreaking show at your leisure and explore the many special features is a real treat -- as long as you're aware that the pilot episode is not part of the package.
