Gemma Arterton The Next Bond Girl:
British newcomer Gemma Arterton has been cast as the <I>Bond girl</i> for the latest installment of the 007 franchise, currently shooting in London.
Born in 1986 in Gravesend, Kent, Arterton trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She made her theater debut as Rosaline in Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost at the Globe Theatre in London and her film debut in St. Trinian's.
Arterton also portrays Elizabeth Bennett in the British mini-series Lost in Austen, the humorous story of a contemporary young woman who swaps places with the infamous fictional character.
