Biography: When she was thirteen years old, Sara Forestier decided to accompany one of her friends to an audition. She received the role and her career has taken off from there. Forestier left school at the age of sixteen. She received several minor parts in film and television. Her award winning performance in Abdel Kechiche's "L'Esquive" set her on the path to stardom.

Upcoming roles for Forestier include Tom Tykwer's adapation of "Perfume: The Story of Murderer," "A Few Days in September" starring opposite Juliette Binoche, and "Hell," in which Forestier plays a jet-setting coke addict in an adpation of a French novel by cult writer Lolita Pille.
