Top 2 New DVD Releases - August 15, 2006

Stolen identities and black market babies: two new critically acclaimed foreign films are out this week on DVD: Dominick Moll's outstanding thriller Lemming and Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne's L'Enfant, the film that took this year's top prize at Cannes.

1. Lemming

The director of With a Friend Like Harry returns with a disturbing, surprising thriller about a perfect couple whose lives are thrown into turmoil when their boss and his bitter wife come over for dinner. With Charlotte Rampling, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lucas Laurent, and André Dussollier.

2. L'Enfant

Winner of the Palme d’Or at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival (their second, after 1999’s Rosetta), Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne riveting drama follows the story of an young, impoverished couple after the birth of their first child. 20-year-old Bruno (Jeremie Renier) sells the infant, his girlfriend collapses and an impassioned quest to find their child begins.
