The New York Film Critics Online Awards 2005

Every December, we spend one Sunday afternoon bringing democracy to film criticism: as members of New York Film Critics Online, your guides vote for the best films of 2005. As one of the first critics group to announce their awards, NYFCO picked "The Squid and the Whale," Fernando Mereilles won best director for "The Constant Gardener," and "Downfall" won for best foreign film of 2005.
