As savory snack hostess, Amara Karan's part in Wes Anderson's The Darjeeling Limited is undeniably small, but ridiculously delicious. Karan owns the screen when she's on it. The youngest Whitman brother -- played by Jason Schwartzman -- takes one look and knows he needs to have her. His desire is understandable. Rita wears glasses, she speaks with a surprisingly haughty English accent, and is enormously sexy.
Darjeeling co-stars Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, and Adrien Brody are an arresting visual spectacle, but Amara Karan adds a lovely grace note to the chaos.
