Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan Wed

Saturday April 21, 2007

Bollywood superstars Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan celebrated their highly anticipated wedding on Friday. The former Miss World and the son of Indian screen legends Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan held a traditional Hindu ceremony. The bridegroom, wearing a long, white "bandhgala," rode in on a white horse, waving to hundreds of fans, before the pair exchanged vows in front of a sacred fire. The event was the culmination of a three day period of festivities. Read more. Here is a video of the couple performing together.

This should read a “traditional Hindu ceremony.” Hindu/Hinduism is a religion, “Hindi” is a major language of India.

don’t like to be a party pooper or anything but i dont like them for each other either. i was waiting for someone better suited for her to come along. but hey did u see the pics of the house in Bombay. i can understand. if u can’t find the thing called love make sure there’s enough money to make up for it. we can see the moolah but sometimes don’t we all stop to wonder if love even exists in this realm at all? ! so go for the next best thing, though i think she could have scored even bigger….
