Fauth is a writer, film critic, translator, and co-founder of the literary community Fictionaut.

His debut novel "Kino"was published in 2012 by Atticus Books. It is the tragic story of a silent film director in Nazi Germany and his modern day granddaughter’s quest to redeem him.

He was a longtime associate editor for fiction at Review Web (now Blip Magazine), and has taught English and Creative Writing at the University of Southern Mississippi and Manhattan’s Laboratory Institute of Merchandising.

He has written for Wiesbadener Kurier, New York Newsday, Flavorpill, and The Huffington Post.

In 2017 he joined the team at Kino-Zeit, Germany’s oldest and largest art house film magazine, as editor and social media manager.

Education

Fauth attended the Center for Writers at the University of Southern Mississippi and holds a Ph.D. in English/Creative Writing.

He received his undergraduate degree from Germany's Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität Mainz in American studies and film.
